| The Tudorovic name has been associated with South
Australia's construction industry since 1964, when the founder and
Managing Director of the company, Davor Tudorovic, commenced contracting
in concrete construction and kerbing associated with the burgeoning land
subdivisions in Adelaide in the 1960's. |

In 1984 Davalan Concrete Pty Ltd was incorporated to supply
and manufacture concrete to the Adelaide market, and compliment the
continuing metropolitan contracting interests of the Company. The company
currently operates plants at Gillman, Elizabeth and the Barossa Valley,
and expects to be operating at Lonsdale in the near future. |
| By 1970 contracting in concrete works and kerbing had grown
to the stage where the Company was the largest single buyer of concrete in
Adelaide. In 1972 the company was successful in winning a major contract
for the construction of roads and civil works for the Ceduna Town Centre.
This saw the company purchase their first mobile concrete batching plant
and fleet of agitator trucks. |

In recent years the Tudorovic family has successfully
established Tudor Pavers as a leading manufacturer and supplier of high
quality concrete pavers in South Australia and Trenel Sands as a major
Adelaide sand mine for producing specialist grades of sand. To secure the
Groups future supply of raw materials the family also holds mining leases
over a number of quartzite and dolomite deposits along with crushing and
processing equipment. |
