Melbourne Knights is a soccer club that has become synonymous with success in Australia. The Melbourne Knights are not only known throughout Australia, but around the world.
The club was formed in 1953 and first competed in Victorian soccer at provisional level. After the club had attained all possible accolades in State soccer, it was admitted to the National Soccer League in 1984.
Soccer has undergone many changes in recent times. Clubs have come and gone, but the successful strategic planning of the Melbourne Knights has been the basic ingredient for stability and growth.
Foresight and planning enabled the club to purchase and develop their own soccer stadium. The ground boasts some of the best facilities soccer has in Australia.
